About

About the JMCERGG

The Jean Monnet Centre of Excellence on Regional and Global Governance (JMCERGG) (2025–2028) is an academic space dedicated to the production, teaching, and dissemination of knowledge on regional and global governance processes in Europe, Latin America, and the international system. The project focuses particularly on the relations between Argentina, Latin America, and the European Union, analyzing their linkages, shared challenges, and opportunities for cooperation.

Academic and Social Commitment

Committed to strengthening the connection between academia and society, the JMCERGG fosters spaces for exchange aimed at a wide range of audiences: undergraduate and graduate students, faculty, researchers, government officials, social actors, and the general public interested in global debates.

RESEARCH AREAS

The work of the JMCERGG is structured around three core research axes:

EUROPE

Dynamics, agendas, integration processes, and contemporary challenges.

LATIN AMERICA

Regional perspectives, development processes, and governance tensions.

GLOBAL SCALE

Transnational issues defining 21st-century governance.

EQUIPO
